What's Brand Max?

Shopee Brand Ads will be upgraded with a new ads product - Brand Max, which will utilize diverse on-platform placements to boost Brand Awareness and Introduce more Potential Buyers. Brand Max will utilize up to 4 premium placements across Shopee to maximize ads visibility and help sellers efficiently reach the audience.


The available placements for Brand Max:

  1. Daily Discover Banner
  2. Floating Widget Banner
  3. Search Page Prefill Keywords


Special Notes: In some of the regions, Brand Max may not be able to access all four placements, if you have any questions or requests, can reach out to the local RM contact.


Key Benefits of Brand Max

1. One-stop Branding Through Brand Max

Brand Max provides sellers one-stop branding experience by diverse placements display and more efficient algo-based optimization through simple ads set-up. With Brand Max, sellers only need to input the ads duration and budget and summit ads, then the system will smartly optimize the ads exposure and audience targeting over all available placements for Brand Max to reach more brand's target audience and especially the potential buyers.


2. Within One Brand Max Ads Cater to Different Branding Needs

Brand Max will randomly be displayed among all available placements. For each placement, sellers can upload different sets of creatives emphasizing different marketing information. Based on different placements location and banner styles, sellers can decide how to accordingly place the branding images and statements. Through Brand Max, sellers not only gain widened room to display brand images and brand vision, but only can combine different marketing needs & scenarios (such as NBP and Campaign Days, etc.) together to boost sales.


3. Guaranteed Delivery on Booked Impressions

Brand Max will guarantee full impression delivery of the booked inventory. After sellers successfully create Brand Max ads, the according Brand Max budget will be frozen in Ads Wallet to prevent unexpected Brand Max pause or stop due to insufficient ads credits balance. Moreover, Brand Max will charge the real time expense while at the same time make sure the cumulative ads expense will not exceed the budget set by sellers.


Special Notes: System will strive to complete 100% imp delivery, while at the same time Brand Max should focus on bringing new Opportunity (O) , Aware (A1), and Appeal (A2) audiences, which might cause that there are occasional cases that imp is not fully fulfilled.


4. Increasing Brand Awareness and Harvesting More Potential Customers

With the new updated brand ads - Brand Max rollout, Shopee will also introduce a new model to measure Brand Ads success (now only available for Brand Max users as a privilege): O-4A Audience Model. Measured by O-4A Audience Model, Brand Max is meant to increase 1) new Opportunity (O) , Aware (A1), and Appeal (A2) audiences and 2) bring higher conversion rate through O & A1 to A2, to increase brand visibility and attract more potential customers(Appeal Audience).

How to measure Brand Max success?

i. Seller Center Ads Details - Data Reporting

In the Ads Detail page of Brand Max Ads, will display the "Audience Movement Analysis" & "Ads Performance" data, where sellers

Audience Movement Analysis: can check through Brand Max ads, how many new audience is gained (conversed from the previous level of Audience types)

Ads Performance: Impression, Click, CTR, Shop View, Unique Visitor, CPM, Expense.

ii. Trace O-4A audience data on Seller Center - Business Insights:

On Seller Center - Business Insights tab, will provide a new Audience tab as a privileged tool for Brand Max users only. In the Audience tab, will display O-4A audiences' data details including audience size and circulation among 5 different audience types.

Audience Size Overview: overview of the O-4A audience size until the selected date. Meanwhile, support comparison between selected dates to check O-4A audience types' increment%. Additionally, "Competitor Benchmark" is shown for seller's reference.

O-4A Audience Circulation: in "Audience Conversion Analysis", seller can check within certain time range, how's the circulation between different types of audiences (O-4A)

Time range: can select data from any date within the past 6 months and compare it with data from 1 month ago to observe audience flow patterns ("Start Date" is fixed to be same day of last month)

By Source / Destination: among O-4A audiences types, can choose any type as source or destination to view how the circulation(Conversion Amount & Conversion Rate).

Conversion Amount: take O-A1 circulation flow as example, conversion amount is the user who turned into Aware (A1) audience from Opportunity (O) audience

Conversion Rate: take O-A1 circulation flow as example, conversion rate = conversion amount from O to A1 / the O audience size of the selected "End Date"


Special notes: The O-4A Audience data in this Business Insight tab is based on the brand's overall audience (do not differentiate ads and non-ads, for specific Brand Max ads impact on O-4A audiences, pls go to Brand Max Ads Detail Page and check "Audience Movement Analysis".
