GMV Max Custom ROAS - Rapid Boost

Background

To address the challenges sellers face in efficiently scaling new campaigns and optimizing existing ones, we introduce “Rapid Boost”, a smart acceleration tool designed to help sellers scale faster and achieve better campaign results.

What is “Rapid Boost”?

Rapid Boost is a seller-authorized, algo-driven tool for GMV Max Custom ROAS campaigns. Once sellers turn on “Rapid Boost” toggle, the system will automatically accelerate campaign performance by providing additional traffic boost and exploring ROAS up to 30% lower than the seller’s target ROAS. This helps effectively break through the learning phase or high-traffic period for sellers who want to focus on getting more sales.

How “Rapid Boost” Helps Your Campaigns

1. Campaigns In Learning Phase

  1. Pain Point: New campaigns often experience a slow start during the first 7 days of the learning phase. With limited data and lower traffic, it can be hard to attract buyers and achieve good early performance.
  2. Solution: Rapid Boost helps new campaigns bring in traffic and get orders faster. It speeds up campaigns to obtain orders and makes it easier for new campaigns to move through the learning phase faster.

2. Campaigns After Learning Phase

  1. Pain Point: Mature campaigns often face traffic slowdowns, stagnant performance, or unstable results. Sellers may also struggle to scale during high-traffic period.
  2. Solution: Rapid Boost offers an easy and reliable way to increase traffic when campaigns need it. By improving traffic efficiency and providing extra boosts, it helps sellers quickly capture peak traffic opportunities and improve campaign performance.

Rapid Boost FAQ

1. What happens to the ROAS Protection eligible amount calculation when a seller enables Rapid Boost?

  1. When a seller enables Rapid Boost while being under ROAS Protection, the ROAS Protection eligible amount will be calculated based on the gap between your Actual ROAS and 70% of your Target ROAS.
  2. ROAS Protection Eligible Amount = Daily Ads Spend - [Daily Ads GMV ÷ (70% × Target ROAS)

2. Can a seller use Rapid Boost and Campaign Surge features simultaneously?

  1. Yes, a seller can enable Rapid Boost and Campaign Surge simultaneously. When both features are enabled, the seller will see that Campaign Surge lowers target ROAS by up to 30% in the campaign settings. Rapid Boost then allows the system to explore ROAS up to 30% lower than this adjusted target ROAS.
  2. For example, if a seller sets target ROAS at 10 and enables both features, Campaign Surge will decrease its target ROAS by up to 30%, which is 7. Then, Rapid Boost will explore ROAS by up to 30% lower than 7. Therefore, the system will aim to get you the most optimal traffic while maintaining at least a ROAS of 4.9 (7 × 70%).

3. What are the differences between using Rapid Boost and manually lowering the target ROAS?

Compared to manual adjustments, Rapid Boost has two key advantages:

  1. Smarter Bid Strategy: Rapid Boost dynamically explores lower ROAS only when it drives significant GMV uplift, helping sellers maximize potential within the 70%-100% ROAS range. In contrast, manual adjustments force a direct ROAS cut (e.g. to 70%) even when GMV uplift is uncertain — a change sellers may hesitate to make, especially for declining campaigns.
  2. Additional Traffic Boost: When sellers enable Rapid Boost, the system provides extra traffic support compared to manual adjustments.
