Creating Google Ads Campaign

A Google Ads campaign consists of one or more ads, including any related settings such as budgets and products. You can create different Google Ads campaigns for different product categories in your shop.


After you have topped up your ads credit, you can start to create a campaign.



What are the recommended campaign settings?


  1. Daily Budget: Allocate RM100 per day to ensure that your campaign can gain enough data to learn and optimise your ads.
  2. Campaign Period: Set your campaigns to run for at least 4 weeks (2 weeks for learning and another 2 weeks for it to work on its performance).
  3. If you are planning for seasonal campaigns such as 11.11 or 12.12, aim to start the campaign at least 2-3 weeks before the actual day.
  4. Product Selection: To optimise the performance of your campaign, please choose a minimum of 5 products
  5. Product Image: Follow these guidelines closely for your ads to be approved for display by Google on all its platforms:

  1. Note: The product image will be taken from the cover image of your existing product listing on Shopee. Optimising your product images can help increase the chances of your ad appearing earlier compared to competitors' ads on Google.


How long does it take for my campaign information to be updated?


  1. Product price or stock updates: Within an hour
  2. Note: Any products removed from your shop will be excluded from your Google Ads within 24 hours. To remove it within an hour, you can set the item stock to 0 before deleting the product.
  3. Product title, image, and description updates: The next day
  4. New product listing: Up to 4 working days
